    4772-DE Replacement Stylus

    I purchased this stylus to replace a broken one on my Shure V15 Type IV cartridge. Since Shure no longer produces cartridges, I was faced with doing a cartridge replacement, so I was pleased to find this stylus. This replacement stylus does not have the damper brush, but it seems to track well at 1.25 grams, which was the net weight I used with the original stylus. It sounds fine.

    The replacement stylus worked perfectly, ,it sounds better than my original stylus that came with the cartridge . so glad that i found a replacement evn thought Shure doesn.t offer replacement stylus for the V-15 type IV.

    Generic shape not proper fit

    This stylus did not fit the contour or shape of the cartridge. It simply slid in no stability. Also it was shipped without the guard flipped down in a soft package and I believe the cantilever got over compressed. I didn’t even mount it onto the cartridge I spent more on a proper one.
