This device will update your old lower-resolution analog video by seamlessly converting it to 1080i with fewer overall artifacts. The system's embedded Faroudja DCDi Edge processor sends a pure digital output to your HDTV display.This device will completely redefine how you experience radio broadcasts. It features a built-in AM/FM radio as well as high-quality, static-free internet or HD radio broadcasting. With support for both XM and SIRIUS satellite radio, the range of available sports, music, and news channels is nearly endless. The device has an optional HD radio module as well as a dock for an iPod or MP3 player. Audyssey's 2EQ system uses a microphone to analyze sounds from three listening positions around your room, and then it automatically adjusts the quality for a cleaner experience. For instance, if the walls, furniture, and other objects in your room are distorting the quality, then the Audyssey system will automatically compensate for those conditions. The technology can also maintain a consistent volume level through sudden spikes and dips in the sounds. It even preserves the quality of the sound at lower volume levels when the quality would normally deteriorate.With its incredible high-resolution options and advanced processing capabilities, the TX-SR607 is a powerful A/V control center whether you're listening on your headphones or speaker system.
