    Good Phone for a reasonable price

    I got this phone in about 5 days after i ordered through ebay. Thanks for the fast shipment. I really liked this phone. Especially FM Transmitter. I just love that feature, no wires nothing..i can directly play the songs in my car stereo. Audio clarity is just awesome with clear bass and clear trouble. Though i did not get the earphones with this package, i had my old HPM-70. Sound is just cool in those earphones, it might be even better in preferred HPM-77. One disappointment is the Camera. Come on Sony....you have to come out of the feeling that you need not concentrate on camera for Walkman phones. Camera position is also awkward. You need to adjust your finger every time (EVERY DAMN TIME) to take a proper photo. Another disappointment is the proprietary sony ericsson jack for both the ...

    It was very nice design for MP3 user. You get your money's worth for this.

    I've been using this phone about a week now and I loved it. I'm sure it comes with lots of features that I'm not even going to use but good to have, right? This phone has a very nice design and it has touch-sensitive controls in the front. It lights up in orange lights when becomes active. The largest circle in the centre works a little like an iPod's click wheel. It should be a perfect choice for someone really likes to listen to MP3 - It was big plus for me. For the camera feature, I didn't really like it that much and a bit hard to use however it wasn't a bad thing cuz I didn't get to use it that much anyway. Another cool part was it has a FM radio built-in. Also it come with plenty of memory built into the W980i - 8GB to be exact, which is enough to store 1000+ or more songs and is as ...

    Small and stylish GSM cell phone +Walkman..

    I bought it for my son,because i already had one.The one i had i was very impressed because of the features ,before android and iPhone became popular.The phone has front chat camera,but in the USA wasn't working because of the providers service.Very good Walkman player with clear voice and 8 GB internal memory. Wasn't easy to get a good headphones for it and connector port after like 2 year of use became loose. If you like the music and need just the regular email check ,and don't care about Youtube and touch screen,that is a good compact cell phone. The phone where i bought on Ebay i can't use,because it is locked to UK provider...So be sure if it's unlocked before you buy...

    Phone is Japanese......

    Spent over one hour on support with Sony Ericsson who finally figured out this phone was never registered in the US. They tried to change the language to UK, but that would not work either. It will not sync with my computer because the internet on the phone itself is in Japanese. The games menu shows garbled characters such as boxes, semi-colons, etc. The software cd that came with the phone is useless. It will not find the phone. The seller says he has never had a complaint, and suggested master reset, which had no effect at all. Being in the Marines, I was not able to send the phone back within the return period. The phone volume is outstanding and just for a phone, it works well. I paid $200 for a phone that I can get 50% good from.

    love it

    This phone has a very nice design, plenty of memory built into 8G which is enough to store 1000+ or more songs. One disappointment is the Camera. My previous Sony Ericsson W580i quality of pictures was excellent compare to this one.
