  • Moving and Inspiring

I bought another copy of this book to replace one lent out and not returned. Bought original copy on a visit to Auschwitz. Vivid and moving memoir of the author's time as an inmate of Auschwitz and other Nazi death camps and his court fight in 1981 against revisionist historians to prove legally in the US that the Holocaust happened. It is a "must-read" for anyone interested in The Holocaust and tackling Neo-Nazis.

  • An engrossing story

It's a very engrossing story of Mel's early life, the Nazi's taking over the area he grew up in, and then on to the death camp. What a horrible experience to have to go through as a child.
