    Lovely and brillant mix of Brazilian music.

    Despite the horrible film in which this is spawned from, this is an absolutely brilliant music CD. It has a wonderful and varied mix of Brasilian music. There's a bit of jazz, contemporary, 1920s music, folk and pop. It doesn't contain Brazilian country music, which (believe me) is a blessing. The CD is clear, the Brazilian Portuguese is audible, the lyrics are good, the instrumentation in excellent and the songs are soulful. It is my 21 month old's favourite music CD. He loves to samba and this music is perfect for any pace. I might add, if you are learning Brasilian Portuguese, this CD is nice to have to keep you current or as a lesson. The vocals are very clear and easy to translate. Oh, by the by...forget the film...it's ghastly!

    Thoroughly enjoyable Brazilian music!!

    I bought this as a replacement as my daughter was borrowing my original CD too many times. We had both seen the movie & loved it as well as the soundtrack. All of the tracks are beautiful & make you feel like you're in Brazil. I would definately recommend this CD to anyone who saw the movie or just enjoys listening to the Brazilian sound!

    woman on top movie soundtrack

    this is a great mellow sounding cd. It has a nice easy going brazilian (portugese)music beat. highly recomended for just kicking back.

    Great tunes

    Great Brazilian music. All in Portuguese (of course). Some excellent guitar work and rhythms. If you love samba this is a good one.

    Great value for the money

    Great music from Brazil. Sound quality good. You will pay allot more for the artist tunes contained in this CD and they are a nice mix of musical mood changes.
