    Absolutely amazing!

    Wow. Fantastic album, fabulous voice, absolutely perfect, heavenly singing, so beautiful, pure and refreshing. A stunning singing technique, a proud demonstration that technical barriers and difficulties are no more. The best performance I've heard. The kid, at 12-13 years old, is singing better than the best opera singers. Just compare her "O mio babbino caro", "Tell me what love is" etc. - they are the best, no doubt. And her nightingale trills, like in "Lascia ch'io pianga" and "Plaisir d'amour"! Her phenomenal "Summertime", wow! Masterpiece after masterpiece! And that golden tint of her voice, ah! What a delight!

    What a Talented Singer!

    Depending on your musical preferences, you may not enjoy this CD. There's no doubt about it, Charlotte Church has an awesome voice, especially for being fourteen on this particular CD! If you love high, operatic solos, this is the music for you. Her voice is NEVER squeeky, or terribly piercing, but it is amazingly high and sometimes shrill. But Church especially shines in singing a magnificent arrangement of "Holy City." It's almost worth buying the CD just for that one song.     Charlotte Church ~ Church, Charlotte (CD 1999)

    I bought this fine CD as I have a Christmas on by her. Her rendtion of "Mary's Boy Child" is fabulous! I love her sound as I too am a soprano and sing in church choirs doing duets and solos. I sometimes sing with a CD back-up too. I am singing for a mother-daughter banquet in May and thought that this might offer a selection that I would wish to perform, which it does! I am very glad that the seller made this available to me, which helps an artist like me to preview songs.

    Superbly, beautiful.

    As usual Charlotte Church uses her amazing voice to climb heights that one would almost think impossible. It is a wonderful collection of songs, sung by an amazing artist. If you are a Charlotte fan or just like good vocal music - try this.
