    is what it is...

    i'm from an earlier time...(think haight st..lived there...) the black keys could have thrived way back when... pigpen would have liked them... paul butterfield too.... wonderful to see honest music make it big.

    YOU GOTTA BUY THIS CD!!

    First, if you don't buy from this seller, you are nuts! I got the disc from China in three days! As for the Black Keys, what can I say, their best work to date. For an "old white boy," the music really has a nice, steady beat. I could not find one song on the album that made me want to hit the "skip" button. The best track is #4, Little Black Submarines, but "Run Right Back" and "Dead and Gone" should have gotten more air play by the radio folks, as both are worthy of being chart busters.

    No Black Marks Here!

    I'm in my fifties, but still like to rock and roll and this was the breath of fresh air I was looking for! For someone my age the Black Keys are a new talent. Their sound and the energy of their music excites and inspires me. Their music and sound is like great sex-you don't get tired of it and you can't forget it either! El Camino is a great album. There isn't just one or two good songs on it, there are several. None of them disappoint or are "throw aways". I thought they quit making bands like the ones back in the sixties and seventies, but these guys are right up there with some of the best.The Black Keys are a band of the caliber such as we haven't seen in a long, long time.     This CD leaves me totally satisfied and I just put the player on repeat!!

    El Camino gives me goosebumps! it's the culmination of many years of hard work and several years of success. GET THIS ALBUM!!!! The Black Keys are one of the finest bands of the rock/blues genre in the last few years, they are the ones to listen to! Oh yeah, GET THIS ALBUM, you will not be disappointed!!!!! ~82stratman
