Beatles USB Apple Is A Great Collectible!

Perhaps not for the average fan, but if you are a Beatles fan and want to own a great little collectible this Apple USB is a great addition to any collection. They usually sell for hundreds of dollars but this particular one was less because it lacked the full packaging and is missing the little stem. I solved that problem by simply placing a real apple stem into the top of the Allele and it is as good as new!

  • Great device, fine music, but too expensive !

This device contain all the Beatle's albums plus the Past Masters 1 & 2 on high res mp3 and 24 bits FLAC (to satisfy the audiophile public). It's really a beautiful device and very practical. I listed above the pros and cons to make you decide to buy it or not. PROS -Compatible with PC & Mac. -DRM free music files - easy to copy burn onto a CD or copy to hard drive. -All the booklets and inserts contained on the issued stereo CD's is here. -Beautiful and practical interface. -Save space on your room. -Superb stereo sound, remastered of course. -If you buy it, there's no need to buy the stereo box. -The heavyweight aluminum green apple is a lovely object. CONS -Too expensive-the box is cheaper. -The Mono files is not included. -The apple stem is easy to break. See on the Internet the forums ...

  • 24 bit FLAC a solid improvement over the CD versions.

It is exciting to get one more step closer to the studio tape. This is the clearest digital offering available. It uploaded to my squeezebox server without a problem. From there a Rega DAC, SET amplification and built to order floor speakers, I hear it all. It's uneven. Some of the greatest improvements are with older songs like PS I Love You and If I Fell. Occasional fake reverbs and other artifacts stand out against the more honest acoustic songs. I would rather have the original releases than the Past Masters compilations. I never knew that the crescendo in A Day in the Life had so many horns. Had heard mostly strings before. A good test. A few duplicates. Didn't bother with the mp3s. Compared with a modern good recording these are a bit rough, honest rather than beautiful. Still, I'm ...

  • The Beatles All Over Again!

My only reason in buying this item was for the FLAC 24 bit music files. I am running them from my lap top through an HRT Music Streamer II Dac into my Denon Receiver and the music is stunning! I have heard these songs countless times since I was a kid, but it's as if I am hearing them for the first time. The bass is so much sharper, the vocals are right in your face, the guitars and cymbals sparkle. I even heard a couple of mistakes that I hadn't heard before! The price was a bit steep, but as I have the(genuine)mono box set as well, unless they come out with Beatles catalogue in 94/24 resolution, I now have it all. (Yes, I do have the Love Dvd Audio in 5.1 surround, 96/24 as well). I just put the player on shuffle, sit back and enjoy.

  • Love it!!!!

I have had one of these before that I purchaced for half as much, but I gifted it to someone because it held up to like new. I then began to miss it so I searched out a new like, still sealed one. They are very hard to find, but what you get is all that amazing beatles music on awesome file codec, compact fits in the palm of your hand. even paying twice as much this time around it is still an amazing value and can not be replaced.
