    Overall good camera but not great

    Probably the best aspect of this 12mp camera would have to be the smart auto system. This mode automatically detects what the camera believes to be the right adjustment should be made for the best quality picture. Second, the style of the camera is just beautiful, with a bright 3" screen. However, this is where i believe the camera drops from "excellent" to "good" because to compensate for the huge screen, this camera is just huge compared to other point and shoots in the market today. For example, it is just about an inch thick and is surprisingly heavy. If you did not mind the size of your digital camera however, this SL620 delivers crystal clear pictures and in that case I would definitely recommend it.

    Great Camera for the money

    This is the second Samsun SL620 camera I have owned. My first one was misplaced and I missed it so much I bought another one. I tried other cameras before buying this model again and they simply didn't compare! It has several nice features which make taking photos easy for the beginner or the more advanced photographer. It has a quick view time so you can take pictures rapidly. The battery remains charged for many photos and several hours before needing to recharge. I have used it on vacations or all day events and still had plenty of battery life left afterwards.

    EXCELLENT FIRTS TIME CAMERA!!

    This is the firt camera I've ever owned. I looked for months before I settled on the Samsung Sl620. What sold me on the camera were all the great reviews I read about it and the price!! There are so many features on the camera and am looking forward to using them all. I've had a chance to take it out and shoot some landscape pictures and they turned out BEAUTIFUL. The colors and clarity come out wonderfully!! I'm very happy with my buy and would recomend this camera to anyone who's looking for a first time camera that has a ton of features, easy to use and great picture quality!!

    having fun with my new camera!!

    I had an older sony camera and the time came to purchase a newer one so i had a backup. the samsung is small but gives good pictures and options to adjust many functions for interesting shots.for the money paid it has turned out to be a good purchase and i like the size of the camera! I would recommend this camera for vacations,baby shots and much more.

    Loving ths camera so far

    I bought this camera because I have a Samsung and loved how easy they are to use. The screen on this camera is amazing as are the pics that it takes. The battery on this camera seems to last forever. My only complaint on this camera is it's hard to read the options on the menu wheel. I would highly recommend this camera to others.
