In Sesame Street: Elmo's Number Journey for the Nintendo 64, players guide furry red Muppet Elmo through three fantasy worlds. The objective is the same in each world: find and touch all instances of a specific number. The numbers are represented by objects (such as a grouping of six balls) or actual numerals. If a player picks too many of the wrong number, the game is over.<br><br>Cookie Monster's world is composed of Chocolate River and Sugar Mountain. In these levels, Elmo moves on skis (jet and snow respectively). Elmo walks around Count Von Count's castle, which consists of the Garden Maze and the Castle Interior. In Ernie's Carnival in the Park, Elmo walks around dunking booths and gets behind the wheel of a bumper car. <br><br>After finishing both environments of a specific world, players enter a bonus round, which takes place in Elmo's Funhouse. Here players help Elmo throw balls into a clown's giant mouth by solving simple addition and subtraction equations.<br><br>Sesame Street: Elmo's Number Journey is designed to help preschoolers with number recognition and basic addition and subtraction. There are three difficulty levels to choose from: easy, medium, and hard.

    Sesame Street Elmo's Number Journey game is outstanding! My four year-old grandson does very well with this, as he plays his daddy's Nintendo64 games on the game console. After twenty years everything still works perfect! Thank you!

    Elmo's Number Journey

    This game really helped my five year old understand the concept of adding and subtracting. My 5 y/o is not a big Elmo fan (unlike his 2 year old brother)but he said he enjoyed learning about numbers. He also liked the carnival games. This is an older game and the graphics are not that great, so it lost a point. My 5 y/o can't read yet but the instructions for the games are easy and he needed little interaction from me to play.

    Rating the service - not the game

    Not a great game. About 2 minutes of different material (if that). However, I didn’t buy this for myself - I bought it for a 3 year old. Good introduction to the console, I suppose.

    It's a great learning game

    I bought this game as a learning tool for my 3 year old. Its a Christmas gift so he has not gotten it yet, however, I played the game for a few minutes when I received it, I'm positive he will love it. He loves Elmo and will learn from this game. Thank you very much!

    awesome learning tool, repetition and recognition great

    this game makes learning fun for the kids, through repetition, recognition, in the fun form of a game with goals. My kids, knew the goals and were recognizing numbers the first day. Also it is a very durable game that is perfect for little kids who don't know how to be gentle. RECOMMENDED FOR ALL PRE-K CHILDREN!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED
