Brisingr is a great part of the inheritance journey!!
I was hooked on Eragon which I bought for my son. Yes, a middle schooler may need a dictionary by his side for some of the words in in Paolioni work, but is that so horrible? I personally think we ask too little of our children these days. And, as was made blatantly evident by the absolutely horrible Eragon movie, books are usually a far better and more imaginative experience then the movie. Now more about Brisingr itself. It fills in a lot of holes, opens a few more, and gets us ready for the fourth book in the "increasingly inappropriately named" Inheritance trilogy (No disrespect Christopher, just a Hitchhiker reference). Actually the interview with Christopher afterwards does some explaining about the fourth book issue. It is hard to say much without giving spoilers, but I found ... Christopher Paolini is an outstanding writer. The series is very good. If you liked Harry Potter books you will like this series too. It is a shame that they ruined it when they made a movie out of it, they made the characters see dumb or maybe it was poor acting. The books are good. I enjoy listening the best. I like hearting the different characters voices and they do a great job on the CDs. I can listen and drive my car. Thank you!Christopher Paolini is an outstanding writer. The series is very good.
