Great Melodic Rock
The first Sunstorm release was fantastic. The ageless Joe Lynn Turner(Rainbow, Yngvie Malmsteen) unleashing his fantastic voice to the song writing prowess of Jim Peterik(Survivor). So i was greatly looking forward to the second release and it doesn't disapoint. Again Joe Lynn Turner brings the goods with passion and fans of 80's melodic rock are sure to enjoy it. Turner's voice is like a fine wine, it gets better with age. If you are a fan of this type of Music, Melodic Rock .com is a great source for keeping up with all those great bands you thought weren't around anymore. And guess what? Great band, good singer.
This is one of my favorite bands, basically because it has a really great singer: Joe Lynn Turner (Fandango, Rainbow, Deep Purple, JLT, etc.). This band, Sunstorm, has three albums pretty similar and good. It sounds like the eighties hard rock band, but the guitars are a bit more heavy, so the songs are more powerful. The only thing is that sometimes includes too many romantic ballads.
