VERY well packaged -- however the CD was unplayable due to top surface scarring (not due to shipping). Contacted seller and IMMEDIATELY understood and fully refunded for item along with a sincere apology. FANTASTIC, EXEMPLARY customer service and show a basic decency that is so important to conducting business. Thank you for your integrity and it was a truly positive interchange -- even if I don't quite get the CD I was seeking.

This seller sold me a used CD that was listed in good condition. It's in brand new condition actually. The price was great and they started the shipping process right after I ordered. The packaging is the best that I've ever seen as well. Sellers like this make Internet shopping successful.

    Classic 70's music

This is your typical overlooked 70's style music by two well mown talented musicians. If you like obscure music you ought to appreciate this. The only negative that some people may find is the production. Some of the vocals are t quite as clear and some of the instrumentation production is kind of muddy sounding. Probably due to budget restraints, studio, technology of the era, etc. But to me, that's what I appreciate about the 70'a music. The rawness of it

  • On The Road To Freedom on CD - Long Overdue!

I've waited a long time for this to be available on CD. This was an album that went Gold when it first came out but languished when companies started putting their backlog of albums on CD. Besides sounding like the musicians were having fun and giving it their all it features one of my favorite versions of the George Harrison song "So Sad" with an outstanding vocal by Mylon LeFevre. Alvin Lee proves he's more than "Captain Speedfingers" with some tasty riffs playing acoustic as well as electric guitar. He also lets his partner in the project take the vocal spotlight and supports him with harmonies and backup vocals. And let's not forget the other musicians: pre-Rolling Stones Ron Wood, Steve Winwood as well as Jim Capaldi & Rebop from Traffic, Mick Fleetwood, Boz Burrell of Bad Company and ...

  • This is a great CD that never got the attention it deserved.

This Alvin Lee/Mylon LeFevre On The Road To Freedom CD is great. This is quite different than any Alvin Lee and/or Ten Years After record. It is closer to a James Taylor soft rock type of record than Ten Years After. There are a couple of tracks that are rockers, but mostly softer music. I mainly got this because George Harrison wrote the song So Sad (No Love Of His Own), but he also plays Guitar, Slide Guitar, Bass and Harmony Vocals. Don't be confused as he is credited as Hari Gorgeson. They have included the single version of this song as a bonus track. There is a nice booklet included in this CD. This is a great LP that never got the attention it deserved. Anyone who likes James Taylor type of music or even Alvin Lee or Ten Years After might think about getting this CD. ...

  • ON THE ROAD TO MUSICAL FREEDOM....

First listen to his as a LP back in the mid-70's while in high school.. a buddy gave me his LP to listen to.. he stated you will love this album.. well I did, went out and bought it... wore it out in college.. have been looking for the CD for years. .need to get it.. not only are Alivn and Mylon great.. but the extra slide guitar and songs by Harry Georgeoson are great.. George Harrison's playing on the LP is some of his best work.. he also wrote and co-wrote some of the tunes.. great LP I hope the CD is as good...
