Nice Nightlight, very quiet.
My old Ionic Breeze might a faint "hissing" sound, and I could smell the ionized air. Not so with the new one, makes me wonder if it is functional. I will wait a while to rate its performance.

great product with shorter lifespan
Sharper Image has developed an absolute 'winner' in their Ionic Breeze air purifiers. They work and work very well. The air cleaned by the ionic process is felt at the output of the appliance not forced by a fan but by the patented process these units employ. The air smells genuinely clean and you will notice this as the air is also slightly cooler in temperature than ambient temp in the room. The S1627 is the weaker performer of the product line. I have two with one not working and the other 'fading' in performance. I believe these units are susceptable to moisture caused by showering which leaves condensation on mirrors etc and I believe that this affects the unit which uses high voltage charging wire and collection plates. Moisture may cause the units to indirectly short temporarily ... Sharper Image has developed an absolute 'winner' in their Ionic Breeze air purifiers. They work and work very well. I believe Sharper Image engineers are aware of the moist environment these units are placed in and the unit was designed as well as possible considering the tough environment they are placed in but life expectancy is not longer than 3-5 years in my experience. This unit does a good job in removing odors and making the bathrooms smell much nicer and though I have to replace the ones I have owned for about 3.5 years I believe it is well worth it. I own a few large Ionic Breeze units that are a few years old and they are absolutely fantastic!
