Back in the day this was THE typewriter. My ship had one - for the Chief Personnelman since he had documents to do in OCR and this was the only one that would. I was over at salvage looking for other things right after the IBM Wheelwriter came out and the Air Force had thrown away about a dozen perfectly good ballwriters to get the new model. I immediately grabbed all of them up and became the most popular person on ship - at least for a little while. Now I have one of my own.
