    ^ The Alpha- Novel

    A for Alibi is not Sue Grafton's first book, but it is her first novel. For a first novel it is really quite good, but could not amount to much without her later books, and the promise of more work to come in the alpha series. The reader is introduced to Kinsey Millhone the star of the series. In the begining, Kinsey is an average P.I. struggling to pay the bills. Kinsey's first case keeps the reader interested and the story is full of suspects. A classic murder mystery. Sue Grafton's alphabet series is worth the time. willtrib - EasyCityBooks NOLA
