For the price I paid though I can't complain too much. Shipping cost does seem high, even though I think it was expedited. With total cost all in, I believe it was a fair transaction. And despite one of the comics having more color breaking spine ticks than I'd like, I guess it does match their VG+ description. Overall rating positive.

    A Book for the Ages

    This is a real good companion book for anyone new to the game. It explains everything you need to know to understand and enjoy the game. If you plan to play Baldur's gate on PC I highly recommend obtaining a copy of this manual. Cheerio!

    Baldur's Gate Game Manual

    The manual is very detailled and contains almost everything you need to get started playing the game. However, some content is missing with the AD&D 2nd edition rules such as what 4+3 Hit dice (4 Hit dice plus 3 hit points (on page 102) actually means. I decided to buy the manual because it is much more convenient to read the manual in your hands than on your computer (the manual on the computer is included on the cd 1 of Baldur's Gate : The Original Saga .
