A Look Into the Past
The reason behind my purchase of this item is that I have an original set of these Paper Dolls from the 1940's. They were mine as a young girl, in fact in excellent mint condition. I wanted to have this reproduction book to go along with the original dolls as a guide to show that all the pieces are in my original set are there. When I pass this on to whoever, they will have what the dolls (repro book) looked like with all the pieces, this way it shows that nothing is missing. The only drawback I see with the reproduction is the shiney paper that they used, plus the color process, it is not like the original, other than that it was just what I wanted.The reason behind my purchase of this item is that I have an original set of these Paper Dolls from the 1940's.
