Ace is Back....
Ace is back after 20 years, and I gotta say, it just aint his best work. No matter though, it's ACE FREHLEY and I'd buy it no matter what. The first time I heard it, it sounded pretty weak and contrived. But after a few listens, most of the tunes grow on you. There are a few moments that are definately Ace, as his fretboard technique is instantly recognizable. Other times, you might think you're listening to one of many of the "popular" bands on the scene today. Great guitar tones abound, and I'm really glad to hear the lyrics reflecting his sobriety. Ace's solos are sparse, at best, and somewhat lackluster.....but hey, this is Ace, and I think he deserves the support of his fans. ACE is BACK and ROCKIN'!!
I saw Ace about a week before I got the album. He was as fresh as ever, and he really lit the place up.His playing is still flawless and he puts on a great show.That said, I figured it was time to bet the album and really check it out. It's almost as if this is the follow up to his KISS solo album from the late 70's, with no music between. The riffs and writing are signature Ace Frehley. His music has always had a different twist on it from the KISS guys, and he lets it all out on this one. You won't be disappointed with this disc!! Anomally rocks ! Classic Ace Frehley !
What can else can you say about Ace Frehley ! No other guitarist can hold a light to Ace ! Ace put the sound in kiss and glad hes returned ! Sure wish Peter Criss was playing with Ace ! Anomally is his best album and sure we will get more from Ace ! He lives and breathes music !

Ace Frehley Anomaly a Must Have.
Ace Frehley is pure rock musician. Not a glamorized Kiss member. He only cares about making down to earth rock music for the fans. True rocker that pleases only the fans. This is perhaps harder and heavier then his prior solo albums which in my opinion truly separates himself from past albums and puts a new raw touch on his music. It is a must have for true Kiss and Frehley fans, it has enough good material to go across other rock genre and please new fans.Ace Frehley is pure rock musician. Not a glamorized Kiss member.
