Complete waste of money and time! This box was filled with garbage!! A feather boa, arch supports x4, minoxidil, stickers, a bent tray, several straps, 2 pair of ridiculous earrings, GARBAGE! Don’t believe the description as it was NOT worth $250 in returned merchandise. We were sent tracking info that said the package was delivered, 2 days after shipped, picked up, in another state, not mine. Contacted seller and he said we were freaking out! RUN from this seller, DON’T BUY!!

    Fragile but very functional!

The Kremona NG-1 pickup is an excellent solution to the problem of amplifying a traditional classical guitar without having to alter the instrument in any way. The laminated wooden blade slips under the strings on the tie bar without a lot of fuss and the amplified sound is quite good! I would recommend using an acoustic guitar processor or good acoustic guitar amp to tweak the sound but given the price, it's an amazingly effective solution. HOWEVER...it is a very, very fragile device and it wouldn't take much to break it. One must take great care in plugging and unplugging the cord from the unit. Any sudden jerks of the cord could break it and it can easily break from shutting a guitar case lid on it. Still, if you need to amplify your '68 Ramirez without drilling holes or hanging ...

  • Natural Sound but be careful

This piezo pickup is a godsend for anyone who doesn't want to modify your classical guitar. Installation is as easy as loosening the strings and slipping the blade under the tied ends. Be careful while installing and try not to force it to fit if the ends have resistance. You'll get an incredibly natural sound from this pickup, however you'll also get every other sound the guitar makes whether desired or not. Simply touching the pickup will produce a sound similar to tapping on a microphone. It's also very prone to feedback so don't stand in front of your amp even at low volume. I'm using mine on a Fender CN-60S so even narrow string spacing isn't a problem.

  • You can thrust this one!

The sound is really good, it's not perfection, but for me is probably the best solution to amplify a Classical Guitar without being invassive (making holes to your precious axe to fit a preamp system with eq, etc.). A little delicate, and quite sensitive in terms of picking all sound/noises from the guitar body; if you move that much in a stage then you might need someting else, but in general, this is a very good one.

  • Great product! Two thumbs up when I'm not playing Sor!

Excellent product. I've been using mine for over a year on my trusty old Manuel Velazquez El Maestro guitar. It's not invasive like an under the saddle piezo pickup is so you don't mess up your sensitive well loved classical guitar. I find it sounds as natural as a pickup can get as well. I do not use an 'acoustic amp'. Instead with my band I use my faithful tweed Deluxe which isn't exactly ideal for this. So I use a cheap MXR EQ pedal to kill some mids and enjoy good volume with no feedback that way. I imagine with the amps they make now for acoustic guitars you wouldn't need to do all that but figure I'd mention it anyway. Also, these look cool and are a good conversation starter. I get a lot of questions about it. Attractively made and that matters. I can't stand cheesy looking ...

  • Very good gear.

Wonderful sound, very practical, just a little bit easy to be overdriven. Anyway, makes your guitar sound much better than average electro-classical guitars.
