Great seller, easy communication. The processor wasn't compatible with my motherboard, I was able to exchange for a different model, no problem. Well packed, as described.

PCMCIA Card for SmoothWall Linux Router

PCMCIA Card for SmoothWall Linux Router. Recognized instantly. Perfect for taking an old Pentium M 2.0ghz Dell, using the built in Ethernet for RED and this D-Link for GREEN. Good throughput. Really, for the price, as good as it gets for a PCMCIA older technology card. Also tested and worked great for regular old Internet browsing on same computer with Lubuntu build. Recognized easily, worked great.

10 days to receive product and then it didn't work

First off I hate Windows. Anytime I have to install something it's like playing Russian roulette. My blood pressure goes way up and my dog runs and hides. I took a gamble and purchased this network card for my laptop. It took 10 days to get to Atlanta from California. Really? Pony Express? Then I followed the instructions and the product did not work. I called DLink and they wanted to charge me for support. Since my time is extremely valuable, the only thing to do was throw the product in the trash. I can't wait to get rid of all my Windows computers and upgrade to Macs!

  • Loves Legacy Laptops

The CD that came with the D-Link PCMCIA LAN Card included drivers for Win 98, Win 2000 & Win XP. Installed it in a Dell Latitude Cpi C300XT running Win 98SE. The Plug 'n Play was love at first sight! Expected the worst and got the best.

  • A mistake for mac users.

I was expecting an ethernet cable card to work with my Apple powerbook 1400's card slot. I got an ethernet card that connects to a similar card slot, but not the 1400. I was expecting Macintosh software on the CD that came with this card. Even though the box and manual both claimed this was a Mac-usable product, there was no Mac software on the CD, as checked on another computer. I may have another Mac here that can use the card, but I would have to find the (obsolete) software somewhere online.

  • Product Review

You could tell that the new item had been installed in a computer before hand by the scratches on the unit. Also by the finger prints on the driver disk. However unit performed very well. Thanks.
