    Easy to use and easy set up. Good range for a mid priced radar detector, Gets a few false alerts. But lets you know when the cops are about. Like the auto mute feature.

    Dead on arrival for me

    Looked great, new in box. Dead on arrival. Will send it back and hope the next one works. Of note: does not have any chance of working via USB, which would've been a hassle anyways as my car only has one charging port.

    Convert from Escort at a terrific price!

    I have had Escort detectors my whole driving life and they saved me many a ticket. When they started to get really pricey I decided to switch and this Beltronics at its price point is terrific. Included was the Smart cord which connects you to live updates of radar traps all at a terrific price. A great value!

    Great Radar!

    I had a cobra. Which was (is) good. I gave it to my girlfriend. She never had a radar detector before. The beltronics has a longer range, and more features like voice alert and a smart cord, just to name a few.

    Still a decent radar detector

    Overall good radar detector for the money, however recommend units 2015 and newer. M4 platform a little more quiet than S7 platform and range suppose to be slightly better on K and Ka radar, haven't been able to tell the difference between the two. For laser alerts some vehicles with certain cruise control and the sun itself can set off an alert from time to time. Radar detectors themselves are not much protection against Laser you need a laser jammer which are illegal in some states. Do recommend if your on a budget otherwise Uniden R1 and R3 blows it away as well as most dash radar detectors in range.
