    The epitome of war movies from Hollywood

    Great scenes throughout, fabulous acting, funny, always seat of your pants moving, great music with an almost never ending song in your mind after viewing. The vast numbers of tanks, trucks, half-tracks and soldiers moving in almost chaotic directions in one scene is so much that you have to back-track and pause to take it all in! A film that today far exceeds its essence when first released. I have the VHS, which is not quite the sharpness qualities that the DVD has. The sound is better as well.

    For Donald Sutherland, "Kelly's Heroes"

    2/17 I bought this DVD for the obit on Donald Sutherland. I think any color on top of this DVD is DYNOMITE! Donald is the guy on the upper right corner. Three 'colorful actors' are with him, i.e. Clint Eastwood, Don Rickles and Telly Savalas. Very exciting film with Donald giving his vibes to the group in the movie! AWESOME FILM//Ron Denman Sends//

    Action and some comedy

    14,000 bars of gold 30 miles behind German lines fails to slow down Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas and Don Rickles in this WW II adventure. Though at times juvenile, the group of American GI s decide to go for the gold. Their hands off, never around officer makes it easy for them to "disappear" for a few days to try and fight through to the gold, had head to Swiss territory. Enjoyable night of entertainment!
