        Progressive surge protector

        Good quality, well built, follow directions and respect electricity and it’s easy to install. Watch youtube for suggestions on install. Be wary of potentiometer, some require minor adjustments. Easy to adjust but if not confident call progressive they will walk you through it. Have used on both shore power and generator would recommend being on bypass if on house generator as when you bring on loads and the generator slows it could trip the surge protector on a fault that’s transient or doesn’t exist. I would buy it again if and when I buy another rv or boat.

        Progressive HW50C

        Seems like a good product although it’s like insurance; you don’t know how good it is until you need to use it. So far I’ve not needed to use it. I did learn that although I purchased. New open box unit Progressive will not Warrantee it which I think is not good service. Also they should make the box bigger. It is very difficult to wire.

        Great Unit

        I had this model installed in my last RV coach and it works as advertised. System cut out multiple times for "brown outs" and once from a power spike. It's great to see how much power the campground is actually sending to the pedestal. Installed a new unit in our new to us fifth wheel. I know the plug type is cheaper but I prefer to have it installed in-line inside camper.

        Peace of mind for RVers

        Great product to have for anyone with a 50 amp RV, travel trailer, or 5th wheel. It is almost impossible, unless you're an electrician, to check every pedestal at every location you visit. Even if you are sure that the electrical connections are good, what about power surges or fluctuations? This product provides peace of mind and affordable insurance against spikes in power, reverse polarity, etc., at electrical connections. Installation is straight forward. Protect your investment and purchase one of these.

        Good product I would recommend it to anyone.

        This product is great for my fifth wheel, should protect it as long as the trailer last. The only thing bad about it is trying to get the #6 wire in, the box could be a little longer. But it works great.
