This innovation effectively locks the hose into place, even when tugged or pulled. Thanks to the dual wet and dry technology, you can effectively use the RIDGID WD4070 to make life easier. For example, you can use this multi-use vacuum to remove leaves and debris from your property, clean floors while inside, unflood basements, remove cold ashes from grills and chimneys, or even remove debris from a dryer vent. The hose offers a 1-7/8-inch diameter area of airflow, which is big enough to prevent clogging but small enough to maximize performance. Filters help to prevent the motor from clogging in dusty conditions. Beyond this, the RIDGID WD4070 comes equipped with a 20-foot power cord, which offers a huge area for cleaning potential. When not in use, this suction vac allows the power cord to wrap neatly around the carry handle for proper organization. This suction tool also has the potential to double as a blower. To do so, simply unplug the hose from the suction port and insert it into the exhaust port. The vac offers a complete 110-CFM air volume, 9-amp use, and a patented scroll noise reduction. These features offer quiet and efficient operation while still providing precise control with each and every use. When the suction tool becomes full, the user simply unhooks both latches, which are on either side of the shop vac, and removes the top half. You can easily switch out the 3-layer dust filter within a matter of minutes while following the same instructions.
