    A must have for multiple devices

    I needed to connect my holiday lighting display controllers to one source. I was having technical problems with any type of homebrew unit I tried so I decided to give this a try. The hookup was simple and it didn't require any external power source. This was a real lifesaver.

    An absolute must-have

    I used to daisy-chain all MIDI gear, requiring every piece to be on, even when not in use, just so that the through channel would work properly. With this little gadget I can 4 synths feeding the same mixer and I can choose which ones I need and which ones I don't without having to re-route cables. Love this box!

    Excellent product

    This is an excellent product that does exactly what it claims. But do your research ahead of time. It does run on phantom power but not with everything. There is an extensive list of things it will not work with, In my case it was my Roland PK-5 pedals. Instead I hooked into the thru port of a synth module. Can run 4 other modules without thru ports if needed. Just what I was looking for.

    easy to use

    I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an easy to use MIDI thru box. The best thing is that it does not require an external power source, but make sure you check their website first to ensure your MIDI controller is compatible. In order to use this the MIDI controller must send power over MIDI. I've used it with a MicroKorg and an Akai MPC 2000xl and they both work with it.
