    Do deliver longer range.

    I bought these because of the claim for longer range. I wanted to deliver phone service to my shop from my house. I positioned the base unit in the highest window in the house, facing the shop. This phone worked when other cordless phones would not. Perhaps it is the simple addition of a longer antenna on the handsets.

    Steer Clear Of This Brand

    I had a little trouble setting it up because the directions were vague and sketchy. Never did get it to ring. After some research, found out it was a common problem with these phones. Motorola used to be a good product but apparently that has changed. No more Motorola for me.

    Long range? No range!

    I Needed a phone to carry when outside on my property…reception is HORRIBLE outside of the house…forty feet away from the house no reception AT ALL!! Expensive to have it not do what it is supposed to do. I should throw it in the commode to see if it is even waterproof as stated! Never again!
