    Linksys E8450 - better choices for a mesh network

    Product was delivered on time and as expected and was a good price. I'm using this product in a mesh-network, and there are better products for a mesh network. However, since I already had a Linksys E8450 network setup, my lowest cost was to add another wireless router to the network, and it worked. One aggravation was the firmware upgrades now required passwords to be at least 10 characters which meant I had to reset and reload the primary controller to add a router to the mesh network. One other complaint is that the child nodes will randomly drop and need resetting.

    good product for good price

    I am not a computer whiz so I had some difficulty setting it up. Although it is 95% set up and seems to be working ok there are a couple of things left to do. I got this for the future expansion of my network. For a medium price and my projected usage I think it will work well. So would recommend this product.
