Item arrived on time and was exactly as described. Was shipped in a cardboard mailing envelope and placed in a protective plastic binder sleeve. Good value considering other people list the same magazine for unrealistic prices.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me is a striking and brilliant piece of film art

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me is a 1992 psychological horror film directed by David Lynch and written by Lynch and Robert Engels. It serves as a prequel to the television series Twin Peaks (1990–1991), created by Mark Frost and Lynch, who were also executive producers. The film revolves around the investigation into the murder of Teresa Banks (Pamela Gidley) and the last seven days in the life of Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), a popular high school student in the fictional Washington town of Twin Peaks. Most of the television cast reprised their roles for the film; notable exceptions include Lara Flynn Boyle and Sherilyn Fenn, due to scheduling conflicts. Boyle's character Donna Hayward was instead recast with Moira Kelly. Kyle MacLachlan, who starred as Special Agent Dale Cooper in the ...

Interesting - But it doesn't answer many questions

For Twin Peaks fans that want to know what happened after the show ended, this movie will not satisfy their curiosity, It is, in fact, a "prequel" - dealing with (but not explaining) the events leading up to Laura Palmer's death. Perhaps the most shocking thing is to have someone other than Lara Flynn Boyle play the part of Donna. Moira Kelly adequately portrays Laura's best friend Donna in the Fire Walk with Me movie, but the substitution is jarring. Fans of Sheryl Lee will not be disappointed, however, as Laura Palmer is featured much more prominently.

    • A powerful tour de force from director Lynch!

If you were fascinated by the Twin Peaks series then you must see this movie. It is a prequel to the events in the TV series and explains and illustrates a lot of the happenings that were only alluded to or partially explained. It is much more graphic, however, so I would not recommend this movie for anyone under age 15 unless it is watched with a parent or guardian. It is probably the most graphic, and gut-wrenching depiction of incest I've seen and, in case you are wondering, manages to do this without sinking into pornography. Incestuous rape is shown for what it is - an act of terrible violence and complete betrayal. There are elements of the film that touch on the supernatural, or even psychotic, so it can be unsettling for sensitive viewers. Having mentioned all of these caveats I ...

    • People gone very bad!

It's a rather sad look at the worst elements of human behavior. Drug addiction and prostitution to support this addiction. Incest and finally, murder. Not sure what David Lynch had in mind when making this movie, but it shows people at their worst.

    • Amazing movie for a stellar series!

A hauntingly beautiful installment of the series, Fire Walk With Me will leave you stunned upon every rewatch. Despite typical reviews, Twin Peaks is not just as comforting as slice of cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee. It's a town rotting from the inside out---a force to be reckoned with past dimensions and death. After the eerie but dreamy vibe to the original Twin Peaks show, Fire Walk With Me throws you into the horrors of Twin Peaks and Laura Palmer's final days. This movie will always be my favorite segment of the series!! Sheryl Lee is PERFECT, as we all know ;D
