It only takes a few minutes of gameplay to see why Mario Golf is one of the most popular golf games every released by Nintendo. Mario Golf for Nintendo Game Boy Color lets you play golf as your favorite characters from the Super Mario Bros. games, including Wario, Luigi and Mario. Other non-playable characters that make an appearance in this installment of the Super Mario Bros. series include Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Toad, Yoshi and Bowser. There are a few new options for playable characters on Mario Golf, including Kid, Sherry, Joe and Azalea. It is important to know that each character, including the Super Mario Bros. characters, has a different distance and trajectory. In order to unlock all of the characters in the game, you must satisfy certain criteria and beat various characters. Hone your golfing skills by playing all of the different modes for game play. Your options include tournament, stroke, match game and Marion Clubhouse (the infamous challenge mode). With so many different choices for game play, it feels as if you are constantly playing a brand new video game. Choose from four different courses, all of which contain 18 holes. Take advantage of the overhead perspective to check out the angle of every swing, and use this angle to figure out how you can fine-tune your golf game. The Game Boy Color has the ability to connect with other gaming systems. This feature requires the Transfer Pak peripheral to transfer data between the Game Boy version of Mario Golf and the Nintendo 64 version of the game. Using the Transfer Pak lets you play characters from the Nintendo 64 version of Mario Golf on the Game Boy Color game. If you want to play against your friends, use a game link cable to connect multiple Game Boys together. It is important to note that Mario Golf also works on the Game Boy Advance. Super Mario Bros. is a franchise that appeals to gamers of all ages, and the rating for Mario Golf reflects this universal appeal. The game has a rating of E for everyone, a quality that means it is suitable for Super Mario Bros. and golf fans of all ages. Once you are ready to play the game, choose between the single-player story mode or the multiplayer option. Start your story mode as one of the characters that is not unique to the Super Mario Bros. series. As you play, unlock new characters, including Mario and Luigi. When you play through the different levels, explore the environment and interact with other characters from the Super Mario Bros games. You maintain control of your character as you navigate the levels throughout the game. While you play the levels, try to level up to improve your golf game.       Perfect golf game.

      "Guys and gals, I don't care if you're not into golf. You must add Mario Golf to your library of Game Boy Color games. This game is the perfect title to complement your collection. It's got it all; tons of variety, pick-up-and-play controls, N64 connectivity... and it's great fun, especially in the later levels. The early challenges from the pros are decidedly easy to get through. You'll see them throw easy, five foot putts to give you the lead. But when you go up against Mario in the Tournaments, watch out.       One of my favorite Mario sports game. It’s a must for GBC collectors everywhere. Music, gameplay and graphics are perfect. Despite not liking golf it actually taught me about golf and how to have fun. Highly recommend

      Timeless classic.

      The game is absolutely a timeless classic. A bit disappointed that the cart was a bit damaged on the gold connectors, and would not power up until I cleaned the cartridge with alcohol. The game worked properly after that.
