  • SC-88 in a single rack case

It's an SC-88 in a single-rack setup with a terrible interface. Completely inscrutable without a software interface. There are various software programs out there to interface with it and edit the various features, but what you're getting here is a racked SC-88. Software that deals with an SC-88 via MIDI should treat it the same way and there should be no difference in the sound, so it may be a functional replacement for an SC-88 in vintage computer projects.

  • Incredibly accurate acoustic piano sounds

If you close your eyes you can't tell if it's an acoustic piano you are hearing or this unit. Through a great sound system it is a superb instrument. Unfortunately the first time I took it to a gig to use to perform the unit was DOA, nothing came out. Checked all cables, all connections, the unit failed to function. Lesson to be learned, don't buy used gear if you plan to count on it to work when getting paid to perform. Buy new, at least that way you have a way to get the issue resolved. So for good value I had to choose NO. I did love the fact that there was no latency, and the authentic grand piano sound was awesome when it worked in my studio.
