      Oldie but goodie.

      Still a great cpu, especially if you can enable all core turbo on your motherboard. Could also benefit from any aftermarket cooler. The stock Intel cooler is awful, but that is a given.

      excellent cpu and fairly priced. found one, brand new, for $149.99. Paired this cpu (i7 4770) with geforce gtx 1650 super gpu and 8GB of RAM. Able to play all the latest games in 2020 in HD flawlessly.

      Still holds its own

      A processor still worthy of owning. Windows 7 and Linux run extremely well on this processor. I suppose Windows 10 would too if you prefer to infect your computer with Microsoft spy/adware. The i7-4770 can easily keep up with the latest offerings from Intel for much less the cost. Pair this CPU with a good motherboard and decent video card (nVidia 960 or 1050) and you have a pretty good gaming machine too.

      I7-4790k still a great processor in 2019

      Intel's 4th generation I7 performance processor with 4 cores and 8 threads at 4 GHz and 4.3 GHz Boost, and it's ability to quickly process single and multi-threaded operations make this processor great for gaming with high refresh rates and smooth game play even in today's AAA titles..
