    great for kids

    I wanted it to help my grandchildren experience different areas of science. It was very hard for them to work the focusing and see the slides. Wish it wasn't as powerful so they could enjoy the slides. for the price and good value.

    Buy used school surplus

    Did I get a lemon? Doesn’t focus well. Poor quality. Moving parts are loose. Mostly plastic. Bought college surplus for same price to keep child’s interest. Huge difference! I would not buy from a manufacturer who would represent this as a working microscope.

    Unsatisfactory

    I have tried to focus the microscope - can not see anything thru it - have tried the slides with items on them and can not see anything. I purchased it for my grandson birthday. He was very disappointed. I have read complete thru the instructions & still bad purchase -DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!

    Very good for the price.

    I wasn't quite sure what we were going to get for the price but I have been pleased at the details we have been able to see so far. I think this is a great starter microscope for homeschooling, kids who love science, or an inexpensive option for a personal microscope in your dorm room.
