    Good Value

    I got these stands to use for the overhead mics on my drum kit. They seem well constructed - all metal tubes with plastic holders and clamps. The only shortcoming that only applies to my application is that they could use a bit more height but then again I was aware of this when I bought them and they still work for my purposes. I've not used them much so I cannot attest to their longevity but for the money you pay you can't go wrong.

    A little flimsy, but very useful, and light weight. They got the job done for me.

    These stands are what they are, affordable stands. Not intended for rugged road use. I bought them because I host a local Open Mic Jam Session here in Mobile, AL. I just needed some "utility" stands for sit ins. As long as they don't get abused, they should last a little while. Would I buy them again? Yes, but only for the same reason - "extra" stands.

    Sturdy yet compact

    Very sturdy and stable. I actually use these along with a 3/4" PVC pipe as a green screen background. Twist to loosen/tighten is easy yet no slow slippage over time. Collapsed down they take up very little space. Geekstands is fantastic - sell packaged, ships and arrives quickly. Quality items at very reasonable prices.

    Best for Studio/Indoor Use

    These are great, 5-star stands for indoor/studio use. I wouldn't recommend them outdoor or touring because they are not heavy duty and would probably fall over in the wind and not handle being thrown in the hardware case over and over between gigs.

    Excellent portable stands

    These stands are great! They are lightweight and easy to transport. With an adapter, I can use them for anything. Note that anything one puts on the stand that is heavy will need weight added to the feet, but that's par for most super portable equipment. Excellent stuff!
