Easiest way to know your blood type.
I was curious about my blood type, as I read it can determine traits for diet and other ayurvedic treatments. This kit is inexpensive and simple anyone can do it at home. I suggest you to put the blood drop directly over the water drop and not into the white stick (it's easier). You can or should wipe carefully between droppings with alcohol (buy and use extra swabs) to avoid wrong test results. Also, remember to use the 4 sticks, one for each type test. We bought one test kit, used one for each child, following the instructions to the letter. We were skeptical of the results, because it said my son had AB neg blood, which is very rare, and my wife and I both have Rh positive types. Possible that he was negative, but doubtful. So we bought another kit, and the results changed to AB pos. So now we have to "break the tie" at the doctor's office, which is what we should have done in the first place. Don't waste your money on this at-home kit.We bought one test kit, used one for each child, following the instructions to the letter. I found this a bit difficult to use, as I couldn't get enough blood out using the lancet and the lancet is designed to only be used once so I couldn't prick myself with it again. I also found it difficult to get the blood on the Eldon sticks. I didn't get a definitive result as I added too much water (my fault not the fault of the test) so I may have to order another one. I needed something that was sealed 5. I needed something that worked I ordered three, one for me, and two for my friends. It turns out I needed all three! It was important to order extra blood test kits, because they were necessary. For example, the test prick I used missed, so I immediately needed the 2nd pack. The 2nd prink only allowed so much blood to come out. I think it was because I was using my ear as a site. So, I needed the third pack to complete my blood type card. You just put a little drop of blood on each of the four spots on the card, and the pattern and color change determines your type, by ... I ordered this blood type test kit for several reasons: 1. Seemed to test my blood type, but the confirmation circle appeared to be small clumping which should not happen. Chances are I somehow allowed the antibodies from one of the other circles got onto this last circle. Or the card may have used older solutions to lay the antibodies. Don't know the answer.
