It was difficult to slide pump over the retainers on pump housing had to slightly bend the tangs for it to slide on and the nozzle pipe adapter threads were very tight to the point on not being able to completely bottom out the adapter for fear of breaking, but was down enough for it to fit the housing. the plastic may have shrunk on the pump due to age or other factors. Also wish it had a replacement wiring grommet for the switch wiring.
