    One of the best honky-tonk singers of the 70s if you want know what real country music was just listen to this album .gone way too early before his time Gary Stewart was a master of the craft and one of my faves

    "Essential Gary Stewart"

    This man sounds a lot like Jerry Lee Lewis but still maintains his own unique style. He Has a quivering voice like no one I've heard. This was my first of his albums although I've heard him on the radio many times over the years. He has a few hits to his credit and this "best of" album is well worth adding to your collection. rgri6389

    Packed full of great honkey tonk music. Love it. I used to have an 8 track of Gary Stewart, lost it & missed it. Gary has a great voice for this type of music.
