    The Country Bunny

    My grandmother gave and read this story to all of her grandchildren. I read it to my children, grandchildren and now my great grandchildren. It is such a sweet story of fantasy built around the Easter Bunny. The moral of the story is that a wise mother teaches her children to be independent and helpful. This allows the mother rabbit to have her dreams come true. I have purchased this book for my granddaughter that will become a 1st grade teacher this year.

    I am transported back to my childhood!

    This book is so memorable that I am transported back to my childhood by rereading it! The illustrations are so wonderful, the story so charming, and as an added bonus, there is a small gold shoe pendant and chain for me to pass on to my granddaughter. I am looking forward to our special times reading this book together! By the way, I'm 58 years old now, but I was just a very young girl when I first read, and reread this exceptionally charming book.

    A Classic, Must-have Story

    I love this book so much. The story and the pictures are so sweet. I had this book as a child, read it to my daughter, and will read it to my future grandchildren. If you can afford the hardcover version, that is what to get.

    The Country Bunny

    It's a beautiful and charming story of a country bunny who aspires to be the next Easter bunny when she grows up. She manages to overcome surmounting odds while growing up to marry and juggling many children, and using her waits, strength of determination, kindness, and grit to achieve her goal. A true feminist, at heart! She manages to do it all, have the life she desires. :)
