    A daily account of the significant events of the Civil War.

    This book is a very comprehensive account of significant events of the Civil war that reads as if a daily newspaper were covering the events on a contemporary level. Each day of each year that the Civil War continued, the authors cover an event that was occurring on that day. A very unique approach to the telling of the Civil War and one that a true Civil War buff can appreciate. This is approximately 1200 pages of facts and information that is a real source of reference for the student of this most turbulent time in our nation's history. A truly enjoyable read that is never boring.
