    The Naked Truth That Needs To Be Said! Well done and highly recommended!

    Today's youth are bombarded with sexual messages everywhere they turn. How do they deal with this constant assault? Lauren Winner does an excellent job by first giving a foundation for sex in Genesis. By not totally defining sex simply for procreation she gives a picture of God's beautiful purpose for sex in marriage. Outside of marriage is where this book has more of its focus. The lies our culture tells us about sex and lies the church tells us are brought to light. Coming from the perspective of one who has not followed God's plan for sex, she has much to say from that vantage point. Part two of the book deals with thoughts on living a chaste life in the sight of God and practicing this life. Some very good advice for those dating and even those engaged to marry is one of drawing ...

    Great book!

    Lauren Winner is an excellent writer and she makes some good arguements for chastity. Her personal experience with this subject serves her well in understanding the difficulties that we face both as lay people looking for real guidance and as spiritual leaders trying to formulate a helpful answer for people. She consistantly keeps her focus on the relationship we have with Christ and the church as opposed to others. For example, she wisely points out that our primary motivation for modesty should not be an effort to attract a husband (presumably one who appreciates that style. I wish this book had been written earlier!

    I have not finished this book yet, but I absolutely love it so far. It is a great book and I would definitely recommend it.

    Good book

    Had to read the book for a class. I really enjoyed it. She does a really good job of showing that the Christian community should come together to push each other towards purity and chastity.
