I'm finding that castor oil's an effective, alcohol-free, natural treatment for dry, chapped, or cracked skin. Apply castor oil after washing hands. I haven't used it long enough to know if it gets rid of my aches and pains, but it's GREAT for my dry, chapped, wood-working rough hands! I did ask for a picture of the packaging, wanting to know what I can expect 10lbs of lanolin to come in. The seller never answered my question. I went ahead and bought it based upon their feedback rating. I guess some people just don't care to communicate. The lanolin arrived late and in a large block wrapped in a thick plastic bag.
