    Shasta County by Shasta Historical Society (2003)

    Written on the Real Gods Country of Northern California. How it all got started, pictures and all! Shasta County is a wonderland of great places and things to do and see. Shasta Lake, as well as Whiskeytown lake are all a part of the wonderful living history of the area. Read and explore through old time pictures and history. Never was there a more wonderful place than Shasta County in Northern California!!
