Fans of both artists and their respective genre will finally be able to get their hands and ears on a very special release: multiple configurations of Mule's fabled New Years 2006 performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The show featured three-plus hours of Mule standards and covers, including a 60-minute set of Toots & The Maytals originals and blues standards long a part of their live repertoire (backed by a horn section and backing vocalists), plus special appearances by Gregg Allman & Friends and John Popper (from Blues Traveler). All 34 tracks have been remixed and mastered.

    Very Cool

    This was a live concert recorded around Halloween 2008.The Mule usually does something out of the ordinary on this Holiday and this year they decided to play their favorite Pink Floyd songs,complete with "surround sound" and laser lights.It is very well done and sounds quite amazing.Ron Holloway appears as a special guest on sax and brings that aspect of Floyd's music to Warren Haynes' incredible guitar work.This really is a very good effort and I would highly recommend . PINK MULE,who knew?
