  • Only gives the confederate victory on the first day, not the next nine days.

Its a nice job writing about the first day, but stops at Midnight on 27 May 1864. If you want to know the full history of the battle, this is not for you. The battle was fought by Corps, Divisions, Regiments and smaller units on the same ground, until 04 June 1864. But a nice job, outside of a few errors, like lost union burial trenches, there are none. But worth buying for the first days battle.

  • PICKETT'S MILL: THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF THE BATTLE

An excellent book on the Battle of Pickett's Mill. Well written, with maps and complete explanation on what both the Union and the Confederates did. Gave me a complete understanding of the battle.
