    Why buy at pool store for more money

    This part is crazy expensive at pool shop. The one online is the exact replacement. They feel they can rob people of their hard earned money because people don't know what their choices are.

    Works well while it lasts.

    The diaphragm in my pool vacuum was torn after almost a year of use, so I bought this as a replacement. It worked great for a while and today, exactly 1 month after I replaced the diaphragm, I found a tear. I use my pool vacuum maybe once or twice a week and I never shock the pool with vacuum in, so this was very disappointing. I also noticed that the vacuum wasn't sucking up small leaves very well after I changed the diaphragm.

    Cheap product

    The new diaphragm design looks upgraded and much more sturdy than the previous G3 model. However, I have been forced to replace the diaphragm 5 times in less than a year. The yellow "rib" that is now affixed to the diaphragm is now the weak point where it is connected to the thinner diaphragm. It constantly tears in the same location.l, which is at the edge of the rib. This part is also extremely expensive to replace if purchasing from pool stores and most vendors on line. Terrible quality part and even worse design.

    Works great but doesn't last long.

    The product works well. It only lasts about a year, though. Eventually, a piece of debris (mostly leaves) will cut thru it. I live in florida and there's not a lot of trees on my property. Mostly palms.
