    As expected

    At first, I was a little skeptical with the design. I had used the one piece mechanical razors that you crank open and closed before but this is a two piece razor that snaps open and closed. It did not take lone to realize that this design is far superior to the old crank design. Blade changes are quick and easy and when you are flushing out the razor, its a one hand operation. It is heavy but you get used to the weight and control is very easy. The quality is what you would expect from Solingen Germany. At this point in my life, I have come to realize that quality is very important. I have spent enough time with inferior products and find it more rewarding and less frustrating to get the best from the start and be done with it. Your best shoes are Italian.     Shaves Great But Design Is Poor.

    I was a bit disappointed. The gold plated handle is smooth. For such an high ticket item they should of tried shaving with it. They would have found that when the handle gets wet it slides from your fingers. What were the designers thinking. Still it is attractive looking, well balanced and shaves wetl when the handle is dry.

    Solid and if you have the money to splurge, why not?

    My review's based on two weeks of use but I found my Edwin Jagger Double Edge Safety Razor to be just as good so far if not better (right now it's better). That said, I'm still learning to use the Futur as it is a different feel and it's a cool looking razor and shaving with a double-edge is a bit therapeutic.

    Super Size Beard Removal

    I have a few razors but this one is beast. It is big compared to the other safety razors on the market and does a great job. When your face sees this heading for it the whiskers turn tail and run. I love this razor.

    A Quality product.

    After trying a few setting, I found one that works great. Works better than razors that have multi-blades, and those blades are expensive. This razor was priced higher than others, but I liked it. I am purchasing a package of different blades and see how the shaving experience is.
