Funny, Informative, witty novel that you can't put down
I wanted the book because I love the movie! I've heard mainly good things about Tom Wolfe and his writings, so why not!? The only thing bad about my book is that it has started to fall apart...a hunk of pages slipped right off the binding after I started reading it. But the novel in general is awesome. Like almost every book to movie adaptation, the book is alittle different but in a good way (as usual).I wanted the book because I love the movie! An action-packed "historical fiction"
One of my favorite stories, until I researched many of the facts for myself. Tom Wolfe did an excellent job writing the mostly-true tales of the "History of the Future"... Filled with viberant characters, thought-provoking twists, and an ending straight of out Hollywood, this is the tale that launched (punt intented) Chuck Yeager into super-stardom. Worth the price, and take the facts at face-value.One of my favorite stories, until I researched many of the facts for myself.
