Seller Notes: “A stunning Edwardian 18ct Gold Ruby & Diamond Ring dating to 1901, which is alternately set with ... “A stunning Edwardian 18ct Gold Ruby & Diamond Ring dating to 1901, which is alternately set with Rubies & Diamonds (please study detailed close up photographs, which form an integral part of the ring's description).This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.1 grams, has a Plain Shank leading to Carved Shoulders with Chevron Decoration that perfectly complements the beautifully Ornate Ruby & Diamond set Bezel displaying the Gems in Square & Four Point Star Settings.As shown fine quality Edwardian Ring is stamped with a Maker's Mark 'LBS' together with a full British Hallmark confirming that the ring is made from solid 18ct Gold and that it was assayed in Chester in 1901.The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size 'R 1/2', which equates to a US Ring Size '9' - as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.e it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn.”
