Not only design for normal wear and tear, but strong enough to deter flick-knives, and somebody stubbing out a cigarette, yet strong enough to deal with vomit cleaning etc. I have know LT materials since the RT - I still prefer that design to many of the later ones. A most interesting book, did not know about it.
