    Nothing less then amazing

    Im sitting here listening to this album a week after it came out. And with each listen it gets better and better.First listen you might be like what the heck is this?? But give it time and you will enjoy it. The comparisons to "Nola" and "2" are NOT worthy.Each album is differant and to compare them is not fair to Down, the fans or even the music that each album has. Some of the songs upon listenin you know what they are about and they want you to come in have a beer and just enjoy yourself. With Down your not gonna get any radio play or Mtv airtime. But what you do get is a band that knows turmoil(Hurricane Katrina,Dimebag Darrells Death)and still has a postive outlook on life and the attitude to make a classic album.     Down with dark grooves

    I wrote a review on the Down II album. Both albums are great and are similar, so the same review applies to this recording. "This is simply great, straight forward, hard driving rock. It has elements of classic rock and metal, and yet retains a modern metal sound. If you're expecting Pantera, this isn't it. I love Pantera, but if that's what you want, then you need to listen to a Pantera album. The vocals and music are not as heavy on this album. This is more groove based metal with a dark moody feel. If you like attitude with a groove, pick this up!"

    Album of the year

    The best metal out there. Should be in everyons collection. As metal has gone south so has the south risen to emerge a band that has the power and strength in most lil punk metal. No makeup here! Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep.. BROES

    DOWN "OVER THE UNDER"

    This CD is is FANTASTIC!!! If you want something hard but not over top then you can't go wrong with DOWN's 3 CD "Over The Under". Track 5 "On March the Saints" is by far the best song on the CD but they all are great. If you can buy this you won't be disappointed!!!!! Garry from Springfield Missouri.
